my 1903-A4

First attempt at attaching pics- we'll see what happens!
Here's my old DCM (not CMP) A4. Appears to be an almost all original version, but rebuilt in the Korean or viet Nam eras. The scope is correct for those time frames, as is the stock which is a Keystone. it even has the correct trigger guard with the added internal ledge. The only non-matching items appear to be the bolt shroud and firing pin assembly, which probably should be green park for a rebuild, Easy fix, just gotta get them.Attachment 25668Attachment 25670Attachment 25669

Barrel is dated 12-43, s.n. Is 4996863.

Barrel is most likely original for that late of serial #. I would guess all the parts were parked during a post-WWII rebuild. The blued bolt parts could have made their way on the rifle at a later date, while still in service.

Nice Rifle. Any other marks on the stock? Proof on Grip? Punch mark on the under side of the barrel roughly bewteen the front sight cuts?

No marks at all except for the circleP on pistol grip. The barrel punch mark is there.
