I thought his M1A1 was sawed off but now I see it's just stripped out. Neat pic.

I get a feeling ....Omaha beach , around Point du Hoc ......don't know why , never been there,but.....
Does anyone else feel the same ? Weird .

Yes, the 2 soldiers on the right are wearing 29th ID patches.

Interesting that the patches survived the censors, many pictures unit identification wiped out.
