Front Sight?

I finally got a chance to take my "new to me" 1903a3 to the range, and POI is approximately 2 inches down and 1.5 inches to the left at 50 yards, and for the life of me, I can't get on paper at 100. I know it would be low at 50, what with the 200 yard zero on the rear sight, but I've moved the sight all the way over, and it's still shooting left. Does that mean I need a new front blade, or it could be I need to drift the rear a bit more. Thoughts?
I love the trigger and the rifle overall, but it'd be good to get some advice before I start buying parts.

If you rear sight is adjusted all the way to the left and it is still shooting left, something is wrong. Check your rear sight. Is it centered on the bridge? There should be witness marks there and they should align. Check the bedding in your stock as well. The stock may be putting pressure on the barrel, causing it to shoot left.

You may also benefit from a shorter front sight. A3 front sights are marked with a letter corresponding to their height:

A 0.537"
B 0.522"
C 0.507"
D 0.492"
E 0.477"

You can also use a file to shorten your front sight. "File slowly and check often"

You've moved the sight all the way over which way? Left of right. What ammo you shooting?

Alright... I did finally find the witness mark on the receiver, but not on the rear sight (I don't think it has one)....so I lined it up a bit better, using the stripper clip guides to center it. I did pull the front sight blade out, and it is a "C" blade, though it also appears as though the prior owner may have filed it down a bit as well. I also disassembled the action from the stock, and checked to see if there was any rubbing or tightness anywhere, but all the wood has a little bit of play, at least on the top, and it fits well in the center barrel channel on the bottom. Now back to the range.
