Time to clean up
:clap:Hey fella's, I reckon it's time to pick on BADGER and clean up the top of this page.
Half it is stickies and you have to scroll for half a page before getting to the new stuff.
I suggest that maybe they could be put in a common file, as recently happened on another forum. What do you think? Apply pressure?

Well, there's a lot of valuable content that I'd hate to see get relegated to the normal forum threads and end up several pages into the thread list, where new readers would never see it. The linear nature of forum software tends to not favor keeping good material front and center in reader's minds, which is one of the reasons we created the MKL so it could be organized by genre and countries
If the constant display of stick threads distracts you, have you thought about just clicking on the collapsible box arrow at the top right of the any forum listing, so that the stickies don't appear for you when you view any forum thread listing? ;)
If you want to see the sticky thread list once more to see if there's anything new, although the new posts function tells you that anyway, just click the same arrow again and it opens up the stick list at the top of the forum. From session to session, it automatically remembers the last status (open or closed) that you left it in.
Regards,
Doug

Ha! I like the sticky's but I didn't notice that function. Neat.

I'll have to remember that! But I mostly use my iPhone on this site. It's actually easier to see threads I'm interested in. Though I do like to see the full site.

Anymore, ijust hit the "what's new" button before detail checking the individual forums. But if you interest is laser focused then I can see just hitting one or two forums. Unfortunately for me, it's too hard to narrow down!

MAGIC Badger, I promise not to pick on you again.
