My son and I shot the August long range vintage military rifle match last Saturday with Swiss 1911's. Ten rounds each at 300, 500, 600, and 800 yards. We both did marginally better than the last match--I got a 335/400 and he did 308/400. Oddly, my best round was the 800 yard stage--93/100-2X.
