$295 to $325 where I live. I do not know what the going rate is in Canada, maybe another member can get you a better idea.
I think the price you are asking is pretty realistic if it is in the condition describe.
A good set of detailed pics would be very helpful, both here and in your "for sale" post...
I work part time in a gun store and we get this question almost every day . First look on something like Gunbroker and see what they are SELLING for, not what people are asking.
Gun value books are pretty worthless IMHO. Realistically I just purchased one at a gun show for $230.00. Bore bright and shiny with great rifleing. It's a Maltby so the parts were blued. The blueing was about 50% or less, the bolt not matching but still a Maltby bolt.
(I really couldn't tell how good the barrel was until I got all of the powder fouling and copper fouling out..two hours of careful cleaning. It surprised me how nice it was and shooting it at 100 yards it's holding a nice 2" group with S&B ammo. It was a chance buying it but after buying over 15 of various makes it appeares they are almost always in nice shape.)
I hope this isn't too late to assist you. If so it should help others.
I still have an eye out for a Mk2 as well.
It does seem that the enfields are getting scarce to buy.:crying:
Anyway I feel $230.00 was a fair price. I reblued it and it really looks nice! :0)
The stock had some Knicks but was still nice...it gives them character...been there dings..lol
So I would say from buying and selling No1 Mk 4's for around 20 years $250-$300.00 if it's nicer than this.
