BAyonet Collection Presentation
As told to me, these bayonets were made in/for SA to supplement/replicate the drab No9 bayonets on the basis that they could make them cheaper than we were selling them. Also for use on the UZI SMG's with locally made replacement 9mm barrels that were made with No4 type bayonet lugs. Also told that they were MADE elsewhere (Israel/Belgium?) for SA. Is this correct Bayonet collectors?
I have only ever seen one UZI barrel with bayonet lugs. A bit like excess Mk2 Sten barrels machined with bayonet lugs for Mk5 guns. Only seen one barrel but zillions of bayonets
But being a bit of a sceptic, I really believe that these bayonets were just a way of keeping arms production in-house - or at least in the house of your friends. In this case, Israel
Anyone know the whole story...............
I think it was Peter Wells who stated on one of the forums that it was Armscorp who made them for the UZI.
IMA is showing them in stock with scabbard at $18.95.

lol, I dunno, I don't usually browse the bayonet listings, but in any case for some reason I've just never noticed them before,
Love your sense of humour rog. Nearly everything listed on that good quality sight, is probably a fraction of the cost somewhere else.
The big problem is finding out where.
