Sporter scope mount?

Thinking about a scope mount for an impending No.4 sporter project and I've narrowed it down to three possibilties-aluminum S&K, steel Accumount and steel Fulton. I have not handled any of these, only seen photographs. From what I can tell, the S&K appears to put the scope centerline directly over the bore while the others are offset a bit to the right due to the position of the right backsight mounting "ear". Is this correct?

errrrrrrrr, yes but NO! The reason for the offset right hand mounting is academic here. The optical axis of the backsight is above the line of the bore on a No4 rifle - as it is on the steel Fulton mount
