Decent SA/GAW Stock

I was cleaning out the closet in the gun room and became reaquainted with a couple of rifle stocks I hadn't seen for a while. One of them is a very nice 03A3 stock and the other is this Garand stock that I got for a WWII style rifle was planning on putting together. I bought the stock first because when I came across it I figured I better get it while I could and it's(as far as I see)the hardest part to find. It's not too bad, very few dings and dents and as far as I can tell nothing but honest wear. Another nice thing is that it came with the handguards and all hardware.

The SA GAW stamp was also used on WW2 rebuilds like this Winchester stock. I have also seen the SA GAW rebuild stamp on Model 1903A1 and Model 1903A3 stocks tooAttachment 29230Attachment 29228Attachment 29231Attachment 29229

I have an 03 with the SA/GAW cartouche.

Far left is a GAW stock from a Navy Base, it was a spare, second stock is on a SA 2.0 mil rifle and the last stock is on a SA 2.4 mil rifle

Nice stock. It's never a bad idea in my opinion to pick up the WWII stock if you can get matching handguards. They are just too difficult to find at this point.
