My dad was there, and he sure as heck didn't forget it. He went to college afterward on the GI bill and got thrown out of a Political Science class for almost getting into a fist fight with a young teacher my dad said was about his own age who said it wasn't a WAR, but a "police action" where we had no place being.

Cadin's book "Breakout" should be required reading. What those guys did is amazing.
