I have no idea what a scope like that is worth, I got the original casing with "serial" number etc.
If anyone can point me to the right direction where i can sell it or get a quote I would be greatful.

If you could post a bunch of clear pictures, as well as describe any markings, we may be able to help you more... :)
If you don't know how to post pics using the "Manage Attachments" option when editing or creating a post, then email them to me at badger@milsurps.com and I'll imbed them in your post for you.

Steyr of Austria had the contract for the Waffen SS, when it came to 98K rifles. These were BNZ 43 and BNZ 44 orBNZ4. Usually 1 or 2 SS Runes and a code at receiver and barrel, left side. Or a Death's head stamp, or both. I once read the contract was approximately 100,000 rifle, many had no SS markings, just blocks of serial codes.
As for scopes I have seen matching numbers to a rifle once that was alledgedly an SS sniper rifle, but no SS marks that were made on optic prior to May 45. None that I have seen, and I have seen a lot of sniper rifles.
German Shultzstaffel gear was usually what most of the Wehrmacht used, but there were exceptions. Of all the vets I known, none were SS, so none have passed onto me direct info., all us collectors would like to know.
