This was probably covered earlier, but I couldn't find it on a forum search, so I'll ask:
My 1943 LB's upper front handguard has "CCM"(or possibly GGM, or GCM) stamped into the sheet metal cover. Who, or what, is/was CCM? Was this a sub-contractor's mark? TIA, folks.

Slight amendment, it should be Canadian Cycles & Motors.
Also made Bren gun outer bipod legs. Initially, they had the only machinery capable of rolling down tube diameters. Used on the rear legs on cycle frames. Clever eh!
They also made hockey equipment!
