Which sling would be most appropraite for a

From reading several different forums and web sites, I gather that this type sling was used mostly on Home Guard rifles, Pattern 14 and Dispersals. Is that correct? Would the Leather sling be more correct for the Pattern 14 than a web sling marked M.E. Co. 1929? Thanks for any assistance.

The leather one does seem to be common on H.G. rifles

Leather sling - either 1903 Pattern (sewn) or 1914 Pattern (riveted)
