This is a SA NS bolt that was damaged( I think) due to uneven locking lug contact. Nothing wrong with the solid lug but the shiny spot on the split lug is actually a worn spot thats bout .005'' or so deep and it no longer makes contact with the reciever as it should. Any way to fix this?

To expand on what Chuck said, it IS bolt setback, but may not be from firing. Manual of Arms is a procedure gone through by a military personel during inspection. The procedure was to slam the bolt back, quickly glance in the reciever, and make "eyes foward". After the DI, or whomever inspected the rifle after one did this, one would then close the bolt and resume "port arms".
To check if you have a problem with your bolt or reciever, coat the bolt locking surfaces with an "indicator"; i.e. - ****m, Prussian Blue, or just a "Magic Marker". After marking the locking surfaces on the bolt lugs, close the bolt and work the handle up and down through a few degrees of travel several times and then check the bolt locking surfaces for "contact wear". The worn off "indicator" from the bolt locking lug surfaces will show actual "locking lug contact" with the reciever locking lugs.
