IMHO the leg w/hole would be used for retracting the cocking piece when stripping the bolt.
can bolt be striped without tool

removal and dissasembly of the bolt for 1917 and P14
Combo tool is not really required, but it sure is nice to add to collection..... :rolleyes:

i think that tool is for a #1 mark 3
SMLE combo tool
flat tips are screwdriver heads for various size screws.
the prong looking ones are for the retaining screw on the 1907 pattern bayonet.
can't remember the flat with hole bit.
