Identifying canvas military bag
I have just aquired a vintage canvas bag that I need help identifying. It's a #3 OD, has a main compartment 7"wx9"hx4"deep, one smaller compartment on each side.4 heavy duty spring hooks on the back (two hanging and two for a girth strap) , one strap and buckle on front of the main compartment.. NO MARKINGS ON ANY PART OR BAG! The hooks and buckle are heavily painted with OD paint. The snap surfaces on the side pocket have a pebbled finish. Any body got an idea?
