I have a Martini Henry Mk1 that was taken from the Nepalese cache that has been identified as being issued to the 1st Battalion, the Rifle Brigade (marking is 1/RB) This Martini has been converted to a Mk2, rifle was built in 1875. What I'm looking for is some info on the 1st Battalion...having some difficulty in finding some. Would also like to know where this rifle might have seen action, if any. Any info would be appreciated, thanks!
