I have just discovered my rifle has not got one!
So there is nothing connecting the trigger guard to the action.
Where could I get one from, please help!! Is the part no CR344 or BB8579?
Thanks, Steve:help:

Try asking at Gunboards, they have a few more Australians running around loose.

Send an email to EFD (The Enfield Specialists) (click here). I think they may be able to help you out.

These are interchangeable with the same part used in the SMLE. I should think there should be some spares in Australia someplace. I've got plenty of them here if you don't have any luck finding one elsewhere. Let me know. ATB.
Also, it's just steel pipe, though some of them are made from rolled sheet steel. A metal supplier could easily get you a whack job of it that you could cut to length as required.
i have used 3/8" or 5/16 " hyd line, i cant rember which. almost perfect size and match
It is part number BB8579. It is .508 in. long, has an outside diameter of .374 in. and inside diameter of .275 in.
