Repro Flat hammers?

Any idea when they started making Repro T4 hammers?
Just can't understand why with all the WWII replacement hammers that are easy to find and cost very little.

I don't have any idea but I find it refreshing that they are listed as repros.

I've got a December 2010 price list from that seller, and it shows the repro hammers. At that time, they were $15 and USGI were $25. His newest price list has them at $15 and USGI at $30. It says Mil-Spec, but makes you wonder, doesn't it? - Bob

Honest fellow. I wonder what these would do to a sear (if anything) and how long they would hold up banging into a hardened bolt and pin? I would imagine that the genuine hammers were heat treated in some manner, and it these are probably cast and dressed only (appearance being their only criterion).

Nick seems to be dropping his prices on his repo parts. Buy 10 type 1 barrel bands for $75.00. His repor rear sights are down as low as $16.00. Guess the market is getting flooded with a lot of fake/repo parts. Might take a lot of business from the Riverbank.
