correct matching scope for my izhevsk 91/30

I have a 1943 izhevsk 91/30 with the serial number "3C1217" which i'm turning into a repro sniper

I recently stumbled on this:

Original World War II PU Rifle Sniper Scopes.

any know the correct manufacturer or particular serial numbers a izhevsk PU sniper would have?

I plan to make this as a home project for a very convincing replica

Is the rifle an ex-sniper, with filled mount holes? I have never run across a 3C prefix can you take a picture of the barrel shank with the markings?

OMG! Looking at those prices, I now realize I got a "free" 1943 M91/30 sniper with my scope and mounting.

The C in a cyrillic markings would be an S in romanized lettering. So what looks like 3C1217 may be a mark that is listed elsewhere as 3S1217, since I imagine not many of us have a cyrillic keyboard.

I use this for my Cyrillic needs.
I have never run across a single rifle with a number as part of the prefix, not on a ex-sniper or standard 91/30.
That is why I asked for a picture of the barrel shank, I it may be a partial stamp.

I have seen the lazy 8 on other rifles before, it is one of the marks that we don't know why they put it on the rifles. Very may be a mark put there during refurbishment.
That is deftly a nice crisp strike, interesting prefix. I personally wouldn't recommend spending the money on a WW2 scope for a standard 91/30. The Ukrainian reproduction PU scopes are quit nice, they function the same as the WW2 PU scopes and aren't as expensive. You can find them on Ebay. Other wise for a 1943 Izhevesk as far as I have seen the proper scope would be a Progress or a 1943 manufacture NKV Yoshkar-Ola.
Accumounts also sells a modern reproduction PU scope on ebay, it is also cheaper than a WW2 scope.

hrm I all ready had the mount installed... hope I didn't destroy something...

I'll have a look at the ukrainian repro, I'm curious to see how this shoots.

also is the tolerance on the forend normal? I thought there was meant to be a gap, I was about to cork (found an article) it when I noticed this

All 3 of my genuine PU snipers ('43, '44 Izhevsk, '44 Tula) have a mismatch in length of the top handguard to stock. The '44 Izhevsk has a bigger gap than the other two, but I don't think there is any signifigance.
