Anyone have any clue what it belongs to ??
I know the #22c was for the OQF 6 Pounder ('cos I have one)
And the #51 was for the 17 OQF Pounder (not yet but still looking)
Any leads or ideas would be appreciated.
Cheers

Bonus points for this one.......
Bonus points, eh? :)
What does the graticule look like? Is it a moveable cross display with the ammunition markings? Or is it similar to the "R" and "L" cross as with the 22c?
The moveable types like the No. 43s went to the Sherman C's and they should show the ammunition types and MG scale on the reticle, to help identify the gun/turret type/AFV it went to. Just my thoughts.
I don't have any info on the 42, but if you post some pics, maybe it might help.
On another forum well known expert Peter Laidler has said these were originally used with the 7.92mm BESA coaxial machine gun on the Mk7 and 8 Churchill gun tanks.
