Gday,
Does anyone have one?
I am keen to find out more and learn about them. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Including how to distinguish a genuine one.
Any pics would be great also.
Thanks. Pusser

Not telling you.
Demo'd have a dozen.
How many do you have?
I don't have any. Compared to a few others here, my little safe full is chickenfeed. There is a fair bit written about the H rifles, I would only be quoting books.(assuming you have a couple of books...)Page 454 of the "Lee Enfield Story" is a good start. Or p 521 in the last book, "The Lee Enfield". There should be more in the Australian Production chapter in both.
Here is my 1916 Lithgow No1 MkIII (H)
What you look for is, the H stamped on the top of the butt wrist & a matching serial numbered barrel.

The trick is to try and make sure you aren't getting a bubba'd range rifle. I have a heavy barreled no1 mk3 rescued from sporter land. If it were of the right era and I were a dodgey character, it wouldn't be too hard. I am sure there are many minute differences that would prove a real one but I don't know them, though I am sure there are plenty around here that can.
Apparently demo is away for a while. Having known the bloke for a while now i can confidently say he would be as happy as a pig in mud to shout a few rounds in the company of other enfield enthusiasts, especially if they are happy to hear him bragt his lithgows. That's going to happen anyway.
As far as H models go, the rifle 5thbat posted is as good as they come.
This is what I have just purchased.
