bought at estate sale for $50, needs some parts, rear sight front barrel band buts looks pretty good otherwise, question is about date on receiver below ovieno(sic), is 1932 correct? i had read they stopped in '28 or '29. is this still a 93? it looks like 7mm,great bore by the way. any idea on parts avail? thanx, great knowledge here.:D
Try Numrich for parts, but the condition of what you receive is altogether random. By 1933 I believe that production was quite low. Getting to the point of "parts clean up" at Oviedo.
My Spanish '93 rifle is 1927 dated. Bit of a mixmaster, and has wretched bedding. However, it shot well until I attempted to correct the sloppy fit in the stock. Now that the tang isn't trying to split the inletting at the wrist the groups aren't nearly as good.
