Newbie w/a few questions
Hello all,Tommyt here from down south ,I recently purchased my 1st Enfield then found out its the one most villified, a Santa Fe Carbine, However I like it, It shoots great and now I need info on how to properly scope her. I'm lookin into the DAI mount at Brownells and the S&K mount as well as maybe talkin to Brian Dick about one as well, any thoughts gang,Thanks,Tommyt

I would talk to Brian Dick, people say the Fultons no drill brackets are the best of its kind.

Do you have more photographs of the other side of the receiver so we can see the stampings please. Looks nice to me though - don't monkey with it either way.

A few closer shots would be nice.

I think the Armalon is probably the best design yet. You can take it off the rifle without taking the scope off the base, unlike the S&K and I believe the Fulton's.
Nothing wrong with your rifle BTW. It's already collectible and highly usable.

At least you have one with a bayonet boss on

I don't think it's a sante fe. Looks to me like it could be a genuine No.5 hence the request for more pics.

It's not a genuine No.5 from what I can see. Flash hider is a repro IMO. Likewise handguard. Nice handy little rifle though. Would be nice to see some closeups of the mag as it looks better formed than those Parker Hale made in Japan jobs. Any markings on it?
