I'm looking at a 1863 Remington Zouave rifle and don't have a clue of what would be a fair offer to its' owner.
It is in very good condition, no visible cracks or rust. The only thing I noticed is that the 3 tier sight must have come off as it appears to be glued on by maybe Super Glue.
The rifle even has the extra nipple in the stock under the brass hinge plate.
Any response would be appreciated. Thanks.

I don't think they were ever issued. I think they were sold off from storage without seeing any service.
