What the HECK is this thing?
I recently picked this up from a friend of mine who was going to throw it out, so I paid him $20 for it and kept it from destruction. My question is, WHAT did I save? I asked my friend about it, and he said he didn't know, it was from his fathers WWII collection.

Sounds like they'd be used on beach landings? Any idea what they're worth?

Thanks! But I have to say, $400 is sounding allot nicer than $20... :)
