Found this old girl at a gunshow Saturday morning.

1945 BSA production, wood/receiver/bolt/barrel all matching, no import marks. Bore cleaned right up after a soak with some Break-Free and a few patches of copper solvent. Nice strong rifling. Wasn't expecting to find a Jungle Carbine, but I was definitely happy to get it :)

Great looking original condition rifle and oftern clean up nisely. However, does not look very 'jungle' where you are! I to am curently looking for such a rifle although they are now starting to get expensive here in the UK.
More like Norway, but was there snow everywhere when the No.5s made their first visit during WWII?
