Nice score!!
Keep thinking I will stumble upon something like that here in the states, but no luck so far.
The price is always right!!
Congrats!!

Well done, you definitely seem to have your finger on the trigger !! Yes, if the price is right someone somewhere in the world will want one or six or ...
A shooting aquaintance took his wife to a arms auction and told her, "all that stuff [you dislike] in the a basement, I didn't pay these sorts of prices for it" she replied " And I thought it was just junk"
B-1 BB 0664
"Rifle Self Loading 7.92MM EC.2"
might be really interesting to research, any other info on those boxes??
The B1/CR number will probably be No4 stuff and the 13 figure Nato Stock number will be L1A1 stuff. The much older B1 BB 0664 stuff 'BRACKET' is an old Ordnance number that pre-dates the more recent/post war/late 40's Ministry of Supply number so could be something strange.
Mind you, if you're suddenly the proud owner of 800 foresight blades then......, well........, I really don't know what to suggest!
I'm surprised Peter, just need to find 800 LE to put them on
This link shows the BB 0664 as being for the No.3 rifle but common to the No.1 rifle!

The big box has 80 sealed smaller boxes inside with 10 blades per box, so yes PL, I have 800 blades, just don't ask why!! Below are pictures of the 1005.21.103.1115 Blades, ends up they are Long Branch .045 blades. If I understand you correctly PL, these are for an L1A1? They look almost identical to a couple of the sight blades on a couple of my Long Branch rifles.
You're right Terry, they're NOT L1A1 but bog standard No4 sight blades. I didn't realise that Canada had NATO codified No4 rifle numbers as we did (for the long serving Cadet No4's and L42's etc.....) Quite what you do with 800 045 foresight blades and the obsolescent Mk1 type at that, heaven only knows!
