Mark 2 Model 1 Grade B Trophy rifle Questions
This is concerning one of the Mark 2 Model 1 Grade B match rifles with the glossy finish that were awarded to Navy match winners. I've asked some questions about these rifles in a couple of other forums around Xmas time and did not get any answers to a couple of them. Thought I'd try again here.
Attached is a photo of the receiver with what could be a lower case "g" or the number "9" electro penciled on it. I'm kind of leaning towards a "9" because of the line drawn under it to differentiate it from a "6".
Then a photo of the bolt with what I think could be "72" or "12".
Finally a full length photo of the rifle, I apologize for neglecting to remove the yellow screw protector from the op rod handle before taking the photo. They are a great way to keep the handle from denting safe-mates, but don't help the photo LOL.
Am hoping someone has seen these markings before and knows what they mean.
Thanks in Advance.
