Ajack Scope,,,Help

So I bouhgt this Ajack scope in the hopes of mating it to one of my M-39 rifles and making a repro M-39/43 but In my rush I realized it s not like the scopes I've seen on representative models or even M41b's Its definately a AJack 4x90 but comes with W/E adjutments.

Was hoping someone could help me identify it as to what era it comes from, and if it was possibly even used on military rifle.

1930's Germany. After that it would say West Germany or DDR. Mind you, that's only what I have been told as I had an identical one some years ago. I wouldn't think that these were ever used by the military as they were simply not robust enough. I suppose they were the equivalent of the Lyman Alaskan, used (?) by the Canadian military and tested by the UK Military. Absolute crap! Just sit and ponder how you would take on a target at , say, 450 yards without the benefit of even a rudimentarty range scale. See the point I'm making?

Post War Ajack 4 x 90. Manufactured between 1954 and 1964 by Alfred jackenroll and Co. The 4 x 90 relates to the magnification x luminosity. This was a commercial hunting type scope with internal windage and elevation adjustment whereas the pre war 4 x 90 had only internal elevation adjustment with windage being catered for in the mount base.

Thanks. Was looking for the military one when I got this. Will probably put it back on the market.
