Any thoughts on these early scopes please?

I am told that in early trench warfare with the absence of service issue sniper rifles/scopes, the Germans used these scopes and fitted them to their mausers/KARs etc. Indeed some photos show their actual hunting rifles being used in the field. Can anyone shed some light on these 2 C Zeiss please? Particularly value as I know these are hard to come by Mark
