Seven Million Inland
Well I have seen one "real" seven million Inland.
I have seen a few that had an "1" in the right place but they did not start their life that way.
There must be others out there, but I have not seen another one in twenty years.
Buyer beware is all I can say.

the one on Gunsamerica or the the one on Gunbroker?

The one on GunBroker has obviously been played with. I can't see how anyone would overlook that and bid the kind of money that it is currently up to. By the way, I have seen several stamped 2's or over stamped 2's in the last few months on GunBroker alone. One was a Winchester that disappeared in a few days.

The one on GB could get you some prison time......looks like a M2 with the 2 changed to a 1 which I believe is an incorrect font for an Inland anything. Regards, Rick.

Roger, When CMP was selling the Inland carbines there were a number of guys who got Inlands in the 7 million range. I think Tired Retired got one if I remember right. For awhile they were posting serial numbers to see who had the highest number.

I've only seen one original M1 in the 7 mil range. It was sold on the CMP auction site.

I had an M2 that was 7,402,239 and was as new. It was classic M2. It had been in possession of the man that originally lifted it at wars end and I got it from him. Unfortunatly I don't have it now and have no proof or pics...guess it never really happened then did it?
