There's been some posts on these, not too long back - here I believe, and on the CMP and Calguns forums. Jim Mock's website has some info on the Citadel version. Around here they are priced at about $299, but all I've seen have the synthetic stocks. - Bob
I have a pair of them and LOVE them. Trigger pull is comparable to my two IBM M1 carbines. I did have to file down the front sight to get it sighted in correctly. They do slip right into the repro M1A1 paratrooper stock that you can get from Numerich.
Here is a link to my thread about them in the .22 smallbore section, also a pic to wet your appetite.
The wait begins!

That was gonna be my next question can I restock them!
If you plan on restocking one, save some $$$ and get the synthetic stock version. I think they run around $50 - $100 less than the wood stock ones.
What brand are yours??? They are really nice.
Mine are the "Chiappa M1-22", here is a link to their web site.

They're basically reconstituted Erma design .22s, yes? The old Ermas seemed generally OK, if somewhat finicky about ammo. The new ones look more like M1s, though.
I have no personal experience with the Erma 22. Below is a link to some good information on them. I think the Chiappa M1-22 does look and feel just like my USGI I.B.M. M1 carbines. I have used 5 different types of 40gr LRN bullets with NO PROBLEMS.

I have one with Iver Johnson brand marks. Bought it when Iver Johnson went belly up. Used it for fun, and to start out two kids with shooting. They then moved to M1 Carbine, then M1 Garand. I never had even one indication of ammo. sensitivity. I guess we were lucky.
I never did look to see if it would fit in a GI stock. I do have an extra stock HMMM!
