New one for me: Martini-Henry refurb

OK folks, I'll admit, I've been absent from this forum for a while; sorry about that. Will try to do better in 2013.

Anyways, I've been spending time on a Martini Henry over the past few months. This one started as a rust pile.

I didn't take pics before this stage, the reassembled rifle minus butt stock. But trust me, it was ugly.

Then I needed a butt stock. Found one which had been converted from short lever to long lever. But I needed a short lever butt stock, so back to short it went.

I haven't shot it yet, but it's at least looking better now than it did when I got it about a year ago...
