Early Russian 7,62x54R cartridges
Picked this up a long time ago, these are the early round nose bullets, they are dated from 1905 to 1910, all are Tula except one 1904 St Petersburg.
The red wooden bullet or dummy cartridge is dated 1897
My question, the stripper clip or charger, is it the first type ?Attachment 41425Attachment 41426

Also found this Tula 1919 (unless the number 19 is for something else ?) still loaded with the 210 gr round nose bullet. This is a number of years since the spitzer was adopted in 1908. I
have read that not all the Mosin-Nagant sights were altered for the new 1908 spitzer and the older loading was continued until the sights were all standardAttachment 41453Attachment 41454
