Can anyone shedder some light on this holster? It looks like the average 1911 flap holster more or less but doesn't come close to accepting one but a High Power fits like a glove. Is it military issue or a repro?

The holster is a mid 1960"s vintage made by Bucheimer Leather Co, made for the 1911A1 .45cal, mainly used in Vietnam. Not 100% sure, but could be a M1916 version.
Like he says, looks like a standard Bucheimer...they didn't have the best reputation for fit sometimes. It's also very new. The .45 would shoehorn in and fit after some break in.
This is a very old Model 1911 holster, can be used as a shoulder holster or used on your hip, there is a pouch for an extra clip too. It is a well made holster but unmarked - might be WW1 or post WW1 time period ?Attachment 41735
