I use to reload all my 9mm and 38 S&W this way with Lee loaders.
Reloaded thousands this way.
Fast, cheap, very good results.
It annoyed the hell out of my wife and lodger as I
sat on the bath room step early on a Sunday morning
hitting the case into the die. :bash: :bash: :bash:
The lodger (she) had usually had a very late night after
being out clubbing :dancingbanana: in Nottingham. :D
I used the same powder Hurco and the same
125 grain home cast conical bullet in both.
Those were the days.
The lodger and the wife move out together. :(
That's how I got the bug reloading 5.56 with Sako brass.
I love the old boxes. I have the 12 gauge set in an old box it is a great addition to my reloading kit.
Still use mine today, only thing I did add to the kit was a run of the mill hand primer, have loaded hundreds and mainly use it and the .308 kit for downloads or for test rounds etc.
I've used and still have the Lee loader on 303 I've loaded from 150 grain bullets down to 96 grain bullets. The latter were blazing fast rounds!!!
I'd like to try the 96 grain bullets sounds neat. I'm using 174 grain bullets with Varget. Hope it turns out to be a nice combo.
