sorry. the page is gone coz believe they put it on hold for me. Receiver is byf45 and barrel is 44. come with sling mark L&F is in good shape. every thing complete but is deface.
Why would you spend $795.00 on a destroyed useless firearm? It doesn't matter now if its rare or not its destroyed!!! That site is a horror show.
u must be looking at the wrong one.Bet the one u are looking is dot44, the one I am looking is byf45 is live firearm

I see what u mean, it relink to other one. the one i am looking at is gone
Sounds like what you were describing was a Russian Capture K98. They sell in the US for $300-$400.
But it doesn't look like it. seems the stock and the blueing is in org condition + all matching ser# but the fire proof mark has been peened. So have no idea who did that
Hard to tell anything now. All I see is dewatted east-german rework of what used to be a dot44 semi-kriegsmodell.
Peened proof marks and other markings? Done by the Russians.
They re-post it on their site again. coz i didn't pay them.

It's a post-war refurb or assembly. Czech or French IMHO. The stock has been sanded and on a real one would be much rougher. The trigger guard should not be numbered and the floorplate should not be milled. The receiver has been cleaned up before blueing - on a real KM the machining marks would be much more evident. Interesting rifle, but overpriced by about $500 in this man's opinion.
