Gentlemen, this has probably been asked and answered but, what # post will get me close to the bull at 100yds with standard velocity .303. Right now it has -.45 and shoots 1 1/2 feet high. Thanks in advance...

I'd probably go to a +0.30 blade and try from there. It depends, of course, on your ammunition type and the point of aim on the target. I don't actually zero for 100yds, as this is not in the sight range for the rifle. I zero for 300 yards (actual range, or on a scaled zero target), so that the subsequent sight settings are all "on" using VII ammunition. For 100 yards I set at 200 and use a POA about 4" low.
If you are going to buy a single foresight blade by mail order, maybe get a +0.45 or +0.60 as a gross over-correction, and then you can always file it down to give the exact zero that you want.
Thunderbox is dead right as usual. The standard foresights were all calibrated to cater for standard service issue Mk7 ball ammunition. Use anything and you could be chasing the zero all over the place!
Thanks, that's what I was looking for. I'm not worried about anything beyond 100yds as that's the max at my club. I knew one of them would get me in the ballpark and looks like +.30. Again Thanks....
