Need some good advice.

I need some advice about a machine gun that is registered in my dads name (in 1966). I have discovered that it's value is somewhere between $ 50,000 up to $300,00 depending on who you talk to. Here is a link to the exact same gun as we have: U.S. Maxim Model 1904 I have been doing research and need a top rated gun restorer to give me a quote and/or advice on what steps to take to sell this gun. Presently it is deactivated but have been informed that it would be worth more as a working machine gun. Any high level restorers that could handle this job?

You need to research the laws on machine guns before you attempt to restore it to firing condition. That requires a special license from the BATF and they are not cheap.

We have already looked into the licensing. Have gotten some advice that if it is activated it could be worth 5 times as much.
