Gotta get some AK stuff going

We have got to try and get more interest in the AK platform! ;)

I got the receiver in day before yesterday and got it built yesterday. This build went like silky clock work. All 30 some magazines fit perfect. I changed out the grip and barrel nut to get my 922 parts and it's all good. I cycled a magazine through it and it picks up and ejects without a hitch. I need to go shoot it now then get the parkerizing tank going. :)

Very nice looking! After my first day out with my new RPK, I am seeing why the AK platform is so much fun.

This is Vlad, just refinished the stock about a month ago, I was going for that Russian red but couldn't get the mix right but I think it turned out well.

I built the pistol with some leftover parts I had except for the piston. I made it from stainless.

Sweet.!! Lovin the pistol, who needs sights when you have 30rds to sling...

You would think it came with back pack mounted fuel tanks!

We took Christine's new Polish AKM to the range yesterday. It shoots awesome! We shot 90 rounds without a hiccup, feed or eject problem. The sights were spot on also! And she looks so good holding it! Perfect shooting platform ;)
