Nice setup, you get great results, I kinda feel like I took the "short" bus to school.!! Never thought to use my Coleman to heat a tank.
Did you ever Duracoat/Gun coat one.? I like Duracoat because all you do is mix and spray on with an airbrush and let dry.

Pretty funny...a two burner for Park...We always used a full propane burner rig for all that. I knew you could accomplish great things with modest means. And yes, you definitely have to get busy once up to temp or the next thing things are scaling up or turning green or red. I also see you set your work in the bottom of the tank. I was taught to suspend mine in the middle...I think it was to avoid the scale buildup from Parkerizing solution. Yours looks brand new though and we had a batch that sat indefinitely and would be added to. That would make ours less simple to use I should think.

Thanks for the pics, Bill!

Thanks every one for the comments.
I've never Duracoated before. A lot of AK guys go that route but being it's a gun of steel and wood, it deserves either blue or Parkerizing. ;)
The only pieces I set on the bottom of the tank were the top covers and the safety levers. I was able to set them on the edge and all was good. The top covers are very thin edged so they worked out well also. Jim, I bought that camp stove for $5.00 at a thrift store in Walker, CA on the US395. Best $5.00 I ever spent :)
