How the heck did you get snow in Virginia? Isn't it a bit early.
I'm up in northern Washington again, putting a bid in on a home. Sunny and 75 at home in Calif. Fog from Portland, Oregon to Sequim, Washington on the drive yesterday. The news said not even rain for a week here, let alone snow.
Keep the home fires burning.
We like to make sure you guys in the Colonies enjoy a good dusting from time to time, so please keep it that side of the pond as long as you can.
Just got back from shooting on the range, think I have a touch of sun stroke here in England, nice day again, had to allow a few clicks for windage, otherwise great.
Anyway, enjoy guys because Christmas snow and Father Christmas always comes to those who wait :lol:
Winter is on the way. I was up around Blowing Rock/Boone here in NC on Thursday and saw some flurries so not surprised some has fallen up that way.
In the Sierras, it is still feels like summer, though the trees are changing (probably because of the cold nights). Wife and Grandson and I went bike riding around Donner lake (elevation 5500') in the Tahoe area. T shirts and shorts, around 70! Grass Valley (elevation 2500') where I live, it was almost 80! No rain to speak of since spring. One smal storm with about .75 to 1.0" rain about a month ago. Evaporated immediately. DOnner lake is so low, that when we went down to the water, my GPS showed us in the middle of the lake!
Tom; I'm not to far away, Hillsville area, 4 miles from the pkwy. GK
I actually live in the HP- GSO area but that is not far away at all. I used to go camping in the Hillsville area when I was a kid with the scouts. I was up visiting the mountains for the day.
