I'm new , but I thought carbines didn't have sling swivels?
The price is beyond totally crazy. Regarding the swivels: according to F.Mallory there were 372 model 1899 altered to add swivels for Engineer Carbine usage at Ft.Leavenworth, Kansas. It is believed that overall more were altered, yet to be verified. John
I wonder if the CMP takes consignments. I've some Krags excess to inventory and I'd like to have the sort of money they're getting for theirs. Heck I could split it with them and still be ahead!
