Second Rifle
This the second- the mum has been half heartedly defaced. It also has a hang tag about which I would like to have any information you guys have. This is a series 33 Toyo Kogyo similar to badgers last day rifle posted above.
Thanks DocAitch

Doc,
I can't speak about that tag, but I do like that dust cover! Does it match the rifle?
Thanks for posting, and perhaps an expert can help you along with translations!!

Midmichigun, the dust cover has a number on the rear lip that does not match anything that I can see on the rifle. I have not taken the rifle apart to see if it has assembly numbers.

Doc,
OK, well all is cool with the dust cover! Repops go for $16.00+ with originals bringing more. If it in fact does match, then it enhances your rifle to a good degree!
I look forward to more photos!!

The tag reads "52481" the serial number of your rifle. The other side reads "Kitamura" , probably the soldier's name or unit.

That is truly without doubt the most half hearted struck mum I've ever seen.
Japanese rifles..they are addictive!
