A day or two ago I was looking through M1 Carbine parts on eBay - seems to be a lot of stuff available, some at fairly reasonable prices. What do you guys think about this listing for W.I. marked extractors?

I was under the impression that these were made by Wadsworth Watchcase for Inland during WWII - not Post War. Is the correct package being shown?

The package is dated 4/69. I'd say they were re-packaged then.
Yeah, that would make sense. I wonder if there was any requirement to mark the packages as "re-packed" during that time period, or maybe that's indicated by the codes seen on the package. I guess the only "re-pack" items I have are boxes of WWII carbine ammo, some questionable "bandolier kits," and a fake M4 Bayonet I got from CTD. Was this a common practice with left over small parts during the 60's? - Bob
Yes, pretty common.
Sometimes items were checked and stamped more then one time. Sometimes repacked in another items wrapper.

Were the "re-packed" items always NOS, or could they sometimes be used - from arsenal rebuilds etc.? - Bob
New, they have the manufacture, contract info. etc. All the watch parts I've seen and used were/are new.
