British 1918 Farquhar-Hill rifle at the range ...

Very neat gun. I'd have settled for being there to watch, let alone shoot it.

Not sure if the Brits would be using this as an "observer's" weapon in 1918. There should have been plenty of Lewis guns around by then, for starters

Interesting mag., a bit like a Johnson, but removable, after a fashion..

Two movements of the mag switch for each round inserted?! No charger guides on the mag? Pretty much obviates any advantage gained from being semi-auto I'd say.
