You all are going to make me watch the movie again. Movie was good ,book was better.

Book was much better but the movie was pretty darned good. There's a follow-up book called We are Soldiers Still.

I have read it as well. Well worth the time to read as a follow up to the original book & movie. Brings the story full circle.
