Scout Reg Scope wise .......... Posting this here as original post on the 'wanted' whatsit has fallen on deaf ears....., or is that closed eyes!
Has anyone out there in forumland got a scout regiment scope suitable for spares? Before I embark on the tedious and mind numbing task of making a sliding front shade.

I know another forumer wants a screw-in rear ocular lens assembly. On that basis there'sbound to be others after other parts. If so, I could act as a point man for the needy and everyone could benefit. Mind you, while they all presumably used the same drawings, the parts are by no means interchangeable. Sometimes not even with a bit of fine fettling. That goes not only for the different manufacturers but even Broadhursts (who supplied the spares to Ordnance) didn't interchange.

I think I have a couple of battered, case-less examples. My stuff is in storage at the moment; I'll check and get back to you.
