7mm Czech VZ24.

Got a line on a 7mm Czech VZ24. Right side of the receiver is marked PO then a 6 or 7 digit number. As I understand it, this was one of fifteen (?) thousand rifles ordered by a rebel group in Brazil in 1932, only to have most intercepted or captured by the government. Does not have the curved bolt, has a straight bolt, but stock is inletted for the curve. Guess it just got a bolt put in it. Worth getting? 7mm VZs somewhat rare? First I've heard of these.

Uruguay has a pile of 7mm Mausers. Still in country. They are uncommon and do sell quickly.

I'm glad I passed on this one. Got to see it in person, looked as though it was found in a shipwreck..................
